Photoshoot: India Hicks visits Manly Pavilion

It was a normal December day in the office when we received an email requesting a photoshoot at Manly Pavilion. Reading the fine print in the email, the name India Hicks jumped out and stopped us in our tracks! We are sure that we are not alone in saying that India Hicks is one of our greatest interior design muses. Her effortless, generous, laidback yet glamorous style is an inspiration to us. Her tropical coffee table books adorn many of our venues as well as our homes.

The Grace Tales founder Georgie Abay was hosting India in Sydney for the day, and we were able to work with Georgie to create a truly memorable day for India. It happened to be a perfect, warm summer day when India visited Manly Pavilion, showcasing Sydney as its best. From the moment India walked through the doors, she was a breath of fresh air. India was delightful - down to earth, witty and charming.

We began with a photoshoot on the airy terrace at Manly Pavilion overlooking the harbour, followed by more photos on the heritage arched walkway on the lower level of the building. The day ended with a tour of Sydney Harbour aboard the beautiful Blue Goose yacht, with Champagne Bollinger and fresh seafood, including crab toast and lobster cocktails (Boathouse favourites!).
